Unauthorized Dealer List and Warning

Westone Music Products are sold through a worldwide network of authorized dealers and distributors. Westone dealers have been chosen for their ability to properly represent and sell our products. Some of these dealers may have websites which include an online store. Westone’s warranty is valid only on products sold by authorized dealers.

Unfortunately, Westone Music Products are sometimes sold by companies that are not authorized to do so. Product sold by unauthorized companies is not purchased from Westone and may have been acquired from other sources such as:

• A secondary “gray” market
• Pirated or “knock-off” goods not produced by Westone
• Damaged, defective or “B” goods
• Stolen goods

Unauthorized dealers often knowingly deceive the consumer by telling them the product is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. They may also attempt to provide warranty service by repairing product themselves. Repairs made by an unauthorized dealer may not meet Westone standards due to the use of inappropriate parts or untrained personnel.

Many websites change names and locations frequently so they cannot be reached to solve customer problems. Other sites simply go out of business. Due to the nature of the goods sold by unauthorized dealers and their business practices, products sold by unauthorized dealers are not entitled to Westone warranty coverage. Westone makes every reasonable effort (including this warning) to prohibit these companies from taking advantage of consumers, but these practices still exist. It is in every consumer’s best interest to use due diligence when selecting a dealer from whom to make a purchase.

To determine if a dealer in question is authorized to sell Westone Music Products, click on Find a Dealer, and then enter your city and state and click Locate a Dealer. Outside of the US, choose a country and click Locate a Dealer. This will give you a list of all authorized dealers or international distributors. A note about Amazon.com and eBay: While some Amazon and eBay resellers are authorized online dealers of Westone Music Products, many are not. When considering a purchase, it is important to note where the product is being “shipped from” and “sold by,” which should be stated clearly in the header for each product.
