There is no doubt that, with the introduction of mini slim-tube BTEs, the way we fit hearing instruments has changed completely. There also is no debating the cosmetic and acoustic advantages these instruments can provide. However, the need for custom fit earpieces for these instruments quickly became apparent. In place of stock "eartips" or "domes", dispensing professionals were asking for better earpiece retention, easier insertion and more available gain.

In response, Westone Labs created a variety of custom fit "Open-Air" earpieces, designed to work with your patients' slim-tube hearing instruments. Each style below has its own unique advantages, and most are offered in a variety of material and color choices.
